About our Anticoagulation Service

We specialise in the provision of Anticoagulation Monitoring and Warfarin Dispensing Services, which we have been providing since 2006, from our dedicated clinic pharmacies, nominated outreach clinics and domiciliary visits.
 Our Clinicians are qualified professional pharmacists who are trained and accredited to provide the service. Our teams work to the same standards as the hospital clinics and our consultation rooms provide comfortable, clinical, welcoming and professional healthcare facilities. 

Redbridge

Britannia Pharmacy has been commissioned by Redbridge Integrated Care Board (ICB) to provide Anticoagulation services in community settings which commenced 4th January 2016.

Barking & Dagenham

Our Anticoagulation Clinic in Barking has been running successfully since December 2006, and was awarded the prestigious Pharmas Award.

Newham

Our Anticoagulation Clinic in Newham has been running successfully since December 2007.

Havering

Our Anticoagulation Clinic in Havering has been running successfully since December 2009.

Our Anticoagulant Services Include

Immediate Protime/CoaguCheck/INR
Immediate INR (Time taken for blood to clot) test results via finger-prick method.
Adjustment of Warfarin dose
There are many things that can affect your INR but please rest assured that our experienced clinicians are trained to get your INR back on track should it deviate from its target in as quick a time as possible.
Education
Ongoing patient and family education about conditions and treatments. Need to ask something about warfarin? Just ask.
Reports to your GP
When you have your INR tested, we automatically send your results securely to your GP.
Domiciliary Visits for Housebound Patients
If you are housebound, please speak to one of our clinicians as we provide Domiciliary visits as part of our Anticoagulation service, bringing our Anticoagulation clinics to the comfort of your own home.
