Pharmacy Services

We aim to provide our customers with a wide range of services and products in all our branches.
Our services and product ranges are catered to meet the needs of the local communities we serve. Our teams of friendly and competent staff are always on hand to assist you, whether you need help completing your prescription declaration, choosing your best shot for a passport photo, selecting a perfume or simply making a service or product enquiry. We are here to help you.

Dispensing

We provide a full dispensing service in all our branches including NHS, Private, Dental, Veterinary and repeat prescriptions issued by UK Registered Practitioners.

Disposal of Unwanted Medicines

It is not unusual to have out of date or unwanted medicines in your medical cabinets or first aid boxes at home. However, it is very important to ensure that these are disposed of safely.

Medical, Healthcare Advice & Private PGD

We understand that sometimes it can be embarrassing to discuss a medical issue in the vicinity of others, and this is why all our pharmacies have private consultation rooms and areas.

Travel Clinic and Vaccinations

Whether you are going to your local beach, city break or a world cruise, we can help you plan for a healthy holiday.

Flu Vaccinations

Protect you and your loved ones each Flu season (September to March) by coming in for a Flu vaccination. Flu Vaccinations are free, for eligible patients and available privately in pharmacy too.

Counter Medicines

All of our branch's stock extensive range of GSL and P medication to treat all of the common minor ailment conditions.

New Medicines Service

The New Medicine Service is a Free NHS service, offered through your pharmacy, to help you understand your condition and get the most out of your new medicine.

Smoking Cessations

Smoking is still the greatest single cause of avoidable illness and premature death in the UK. We appreciate how hard it can be to give up, but your health matters, and that's why our Smoking Cessation Advisors will support and motivate you.

Methadone Dispensing

All our pharmacies provide a methadone dispensing service for patients attempting to overcome their addiction.

Emergency Hormonal Contraception

The emergency contraceptive pill is most effective if taken as soon as possible after you have had unprotected intercourse, but it can be taken up to 72 hours afterwards. However the sooner the better.

Needle Exchange Service

We believe, the safer the syringe, the safer the injection process. This reduces the spread of infections and makes the whole process safer.

Private Doctor Service

We can provide a select number of prescription only medicines without the need of a prescription in line with a private PGD service. Please come in and speak to a member of staff for further details.

Blood Pressure Monitoring

We provide eligible patients a free clinic and ambulatory blood pressure test as applicable, in-line with the NHS Hypertension Case Finding Service. Additionally, all branches accept direct referrals into this service too. Please ask a member of staff for further details.

Care Training Package

Looking after someone and you need more support in how to give their medication? Or do you work/manage a care home and you feel your staff need a refresh on medication training? Please get in touch and we can organise one off bespoke training or yearly refresher training as required
