You will need to be organised, methodical, and use your communication, interpersonal, and time management skills to ensure that we provide a good value for money service to our branch teams.

This position is to support the Distribution Centre Team in providing an efficient and effective Goods Delivery to our branches.

Main Duties and Responsibilities includes:

Medication, equipment and other deliveries to Nursing Homes, GP Surgeries, Patients and our branches, including loading and unloading deliveries

Collect prescriptions from GP Surgeries to Pharmacy and the onwards delivery to the patients as required by the Distribution Centre (DC) or individual branches.

During the festive period, you will be delivering gifts to Nursing Homes, GP Surgeries, Patients and our branches which may include confectioneries and alcohol (i.e. wine, spirit bottles).

Liaise and communicate information from care/nursing homes, surgeries, branches to the appropriate persons in a timely and effective manner

Assisting the branches and DC for any loading and unloading requirements

To respect the confidentiality of information concerning patients and adhere to the Data Protection Act.

Salary will depend on previous experience.
