RSV & PERTUSSIS VACCINATION 

Now available at the below Britannia Pharmacy branches without prior appointments.

You will qualify for the RSV vaccination if;
  • You are at least 75 years of age and have not yet reached 80 years of age at the date of administration of the vaccination; or
  •  You are pregnant and from 28 weeks of pregnancy until birth.

You will qualify for the Pertussis Vaccination if;
  • You are pregnant
       Vaccination is usually given around 20 weeks pregnant but can be given           from 16 weeks until birth.

Travel Vaccinations

Looking to go away for your holidays? We provide a comprehensive range of private travel vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis available for patients who are seeking to spend their holidays abroad. 


Pharmacy Contraception Service

Do you regularly take oral contraception or are you considering starting one?

The Contraception Service now makes it easier for patients to access their contraception at the convenience of their local Britannia Pharmacy.

Blood Pressure Monitoring

We provide eligible patients a free clinic and ambulatory blood pressure test in line with the NHS Hypertension service. All branches also accept direct referrals from a GP too, please ask a member of staff for further details. 

       RSV VACCINE

The RSV vaccine is recommended if:
- you're pregnant (from 28 weeks of pregnancy) – this will help protect your baby for the first few months after they're born
- you're aged 75 to 79
The vaccine helps reduce the risk of RSV causing serious problems such as pneumonia and bronchiolitis.

Want to save time waiting? Please sign up to our text message service which will allow your local Britannia Pharmacy branch to text alert you when your medication is ready for collection

Private Prescription

We accept private prescriptions at all Britannia Pharmacy branches; including those sent to us directly from a prescriber of your choosing  

Private Medicines Service

We can provide a select number of prescription only medicines without the need of a prescription in line with a private PGD service. Please come in and speak to a member of staff for further details.

TRAVELLING FOR HAJJ & UMRAH

Veterinary Medicines

Are your loved ones of the animal nature? If so, all Britannia Pharmacy branches are able to process Veterinary prescriptions for all breeds of animals.

Care Service Training Package

Looking after someone and you need more support in how to give their medication? Or do you work/manage a care home and you feel your staff need a refresh on medication training? Please get in touch and we can organise one off bespoke training or yearly refresher training as required

Needle Exchange Service

We offer a non-judgmental and confidential Needle Exchange service to all presenting service users.
